Riyadh, Saudi Arabia October 29, 2025: The EV Auto Show returned to the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC) for its 4th edition from October 27–29, 2025, bringing together the region’s fast growing EV community. Among the most talked about exhibitors was iCAUR, the international brand of Chery Automobile, which drew crowds with the Middle East debut of the BOXY, adventure ready V27 powered by range extended electric (REEV) technology.

Chery Group officially launched its new brand, “iCAUR,” in Dubai, marking a significant strategic push into the Middle East. The debut featured the global unveiling of two key SUV models, the “V27” and “03T,” and outlined ambitious expansion plans for the region.

Boxy off-road SUVs have always held a special place in the Middle East, with classics like the Toyota Land Cruiser and Land Rover Defender known for their strong performance. Today’s market includes gasoline, hybrid (HEV), and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) options. The Golden REEV (Gloden Range-Extended) combines the best of electric and gasoline vehicles, making it highly adaptable to local driving needs. In August, China’s iCAUR V27 made its global debut in Dubai with this technology and is now coming to the Middle East, offering users an exciting new off-road choice.
